We know reaching out for help can feel like a big step. Whether your child is struggling, anxious, or simply needs a boost, we’re here to make the process clear, calm, and positive.
Here’s what happens when you join ClearMind Learning:
We start with a relaxed, no-pressure chat (by phone or Zoom) to learn more about your child, answer your questions, and explain how we can help. You don’t need any paperwork, reports, or a diagnosis, just your observations and your instinct.
If you decide to go ahead, we’ll arrange an initial session or informal assessment. This helps us get to know your child, spot their strengths and needs, and shape a plan that works for them. We'll also discuss:
Each lesson is planned specifically for your child. Sessions are:
We use proven techniques and engaging activities that keep children motivated and supported.
We’ll keep in touch with regular updates so you always know how your child is progressing. We’ll share:
We welcome your input and questions at any time.
Learning takes time, but every step forward matters. We celebrate growth in confidence, effort, and skills because those are the foundations of success.
Our in-person sessions take place in the ClearMind Classroom, a calm, welcoming space designed for focused, distraction free learning. With tailored 1:1 or small group tuition (maximum 4 children), your child will receive the support they need to grow in confidence and make real progress in reading, phonics, maths, or 11+ preparation.
Our online lessons are live, interactive, and designed to feel just as supportive as in-person sessions. Delivered via Zoom, each session is tailored to your child’s needs, whether they’re working on reading, phonics, maths, or preparing for the GL 11+. All you need is a quiet space and a device - we’ll handle the rest.
Please reach us at info@clearmindlearning.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
I specialise in working with primary-aged children (typically 5–11 years old), offering support in phonics, reading, spelling, and dyslexia related challenges. I also offer support with maths and GL 11+ admissions tests.
No diagnosis is needed. Many children benefit from specialist support whether they have a diagnosis or not. If your child struggles with reading, spelling, or phonics, I can help.
Lessons are fun, interactive, and tailored to your child’s needs. I use evidence-based, multi-sensory techniques, games, and clear structure to build confidence and progress.
Yes! As well as online sessions, I offer in-person lessons at the ClearMind Classroom, a calm and welcoming learning space designed especially for primary children. Contact us to check current availability.
I use a secure, easy to use video platform (such as Zoom). All your child needs is a quiet space, a computer or laptop that runs on Windows or iOS, and a good internet connection. I’ll guide everything else!
Lessons are typically 45 minutes or 1 hour long, depending on your child’s needs and age. Shorter sessions are available for younger learners.
Most families choose one or two sessions per week. I’ll discuss your child’s specific needs and work with you to plan a programme.
Phonics is a method of teaching children to read by connecting sounds (phonemes) with letters. It’s the foundation of reading fluency and spelling, especially important for children with literacy difficulties or dyslexia.
Yes! I offer small group sessions with a maximum of 4 children per group. This ensures each child gets personal attention while also benefiting from a collaborative, supportive learning environment.
Of course! I keep parents informed through regular updates, feedback after lessons, and check-ins to ensure we’re on the right track together.
Simply get in touch to arrange a free discovery call. I’ll learn more about your child, answer your questions, and explain how we can begin working together.
