About ClearMind Learning

Hi, I'm Sarah, and I am ClearMind Learning. After many years of teaching in the classroom, I realised I wanted more. Becoming a tutor allowed me to teach in a way that suits my style, and most importantly, I could adapt my teaching to meet each child's individual needs without the constraints of a traditional classroom. 

I also recognised the need for both personal and professional development. I have always been passionate about helping children who struggle with their learning. As someone who struggled through school myself only to be diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 15, I know all too well what many of our children face day to day in the classroom. I had my lightbulb moment, why not train as a specialist dyslexia teacher? In October 2024 I embarked on my next chapter, an MA in Education specialising in dyslexia and assessment. One year in and I now have Accredited Teacher Status with the Brithsh Dyslexia Association (BDA).
