Dyslexia Screening and Action Plan

Suppose your child is struggling with reading or spelling and you’re wondering whether it could be dyslexia. In that case, a screening session can give you clarity and direction without the long wait for a full diagnostic assessment.

This 90-minute 1:1 session (online or in-person) is led by a qualified Literacy Specialist with British Dyslexia Association ATS status. During the session, your child will complete a series of informal assessments exploring:

• reading accuracy and fluency
   
• spelling patterns and strategies
   
• working memory and phonological awareness
   
• strengths and areas needing support
   

Following the session, you’ll receive a personalised Action Plan within 48 hours. This report outlines:

• whether there are indicators consistent with dyslexia risk
   
• your child’s strengths and areas for development
   
• practical recommendations for school and home
   
• guidance on whether a full diagnostic assessment may be beneficial
   

This is not a diagnostic assessment, but it provides valuable insights and immediate next steps while you wait for further evaluation.
